U8 JR. ACADEMY

 

Sessions will be on Mondays from 5:15-6:15 pm starting Sept. 13th

 

The Jr. Academy offers a setting for those U8 players who want more technical teaching beyond our regular free clinics.  Many of these players have benefited from good parent coaches – and continue to do so!  The academy simply provides a fun, yet more serious clinical environment for them to learn and improve.   Again, we only want those dedicated players who want this, not necessarily the mom and dad looking for the next Pele!  If a child is pushed into something, oftentimes we do not get the right outcome, and training settings such as this achieve the best results when everyone is on the same page. 

The Junior Academy will be led by a licensed staff coach. The cost of the program is $45 for 6 sessions and includes a tshirt for training.  Space will be limited to ensure an appropriate coach-to-player ratio.

U9 LIGHTNING ACADEMY

Sessions will be on Tuesdays from 5:15-6:30 pm starting Sept. 14th

SPECIAL EVALUATION SESSION ON
AUGUST 31st FROM 5:15-6:30

Like the Jr. Academy, the Lightning Academy provides an advanced learning environment for our U9 players. This academy is designed to include those players that are looking to advance their skills training in a more disciplined arena.  The players are selected to the academy for their existing talent and for the desire and mindset to achieve more technical training with fellow-talented players. This is to be taken as a more serious environment than our regular rec clinics.  The academy players will still practice and play with their rec teams, but will train together once a week as an academy squad.   We also hope to provide opportunities to take part in matches against other surrounding academy teams as well. 

The Lightning will be led by a licensed staff coach.  Again, please keep in mind the talent level that is required, as there will be a “tryout” of sorts so that we maintain the quality environment – and space will be limited. The cost of the program is $60 for 8 sessions and includes a jersey for training and games.

U10/U11 THUNDER ACADEMY

Sessions will be on Tuesdays from 6:30-7:45 pm starting Sept. 13th

SPECIAL EVALUATION SESSION ON
AUGUST 31st FROM 6:30-7:45

The Thunder Academy program is currently our oldest age group academy setting designed to give advanced training to those with desire and determination to better their soccer skills.  This academy can be a stepping stone to being selected to one of our elite Storm teams or can be simply an advanced avenue for improvement of play.  The players will still practice and play with their rec teams, but will train with the academy once a week.   Training will encompass individual technical training to more advanced team tactical training.  The squad will have match playing opportunities, as well as potential opportunities for standout academy players to guest play with the Storm teams. 

The Thunder will be led by a licensed staff coach.  The cost of the program is $75 for 10 sessions and includes a jersey for training and games.

U10/U11 GIRLS THUNDER ACADEMY

Sessions will be on Mondays from 6:30-7:45 pm starting Sept. 13th

The Girls Thunder Academy program was formed after many inquiries for an all girls program.  This academy is a precursor to our Storm program.  The players will still practice and play with their rec teams, but will train with the academy at last once a week.   Training will encompass individual technical training to more advanced team tactical training.  The squad will have match playing opportunities, as well as potential opportunities for standout academy players to guest play with the Storm teams. 

The Thunder will be led by licensed staff coach Dennis Kautz.  The cost of the program is $75 for 10 sessions and includes a jersey for training and games.
