CASL Shootout Champions!

The 98 Boys Storm team received an invitation to the 2011 CASL Shootout and then took advantage of their opportunity. After struggling through the regular season, the team came together at the right time and won their division at the Shootout. The boys finished the tournament with a 2-0-2 record while scoring 11 goals and giving up only 3. This championship was the third tournament championship (along with wins in Charleston, SC and Williamsburg, VA) for the 98 boys in the last three seasons. Congratulations Storm!

Charleston Shootout Champions!

Three of our Storm teams traveled down to Charleston over Columbus Day weekend, where we enjoyed great weather and comaraderie - and also came away with two division CHAMPIONS! The U12 ‘99 White team went down a bit shorthanded – without any subs ! – and were still able to pull off a hearty weekend of play only to come away with the Championship hardware! The U12 ‘99 Black team played up an age division (U13 / 11v11) and also worked hard to make it through to the championship… coming out on fire and sealing yet another victory – and another Championship for our club! The U10 Storm team, fresh off two previous tourney Championship wins, ran into some very good competition and it just wasn’t their weekend… next time boys! Two out of three teams coming back with top accolades says a lot - way to go Storm!!!

From Raleigh to Charlotte, Fayetteville to Winston-Salem… From Virginia Beach to Myrtle Beach, Charleston to Columbia…

Our Storm teams have achieved so much in so little time. And yes, having the hardware as a reward for all of the hard work and dedication
brings many smiles to our players and families, but it is the team camaraderie, the fond memories and the experiences that truly matter!

Go Storm!
