From Raleigh to Charlotte, Fayetteville to Winston-Salem… From Virginia Beach to Myrtle Beach, Charleston to Columbia…
Our Storm teams have achieved so much in so little time. And yes, having the hardware as a reward for all of the hard work and dedication
brings many smiles to our players and families, but it is the team camaraderie, the fond memories and the experiences that truly matter!
Go Storm!
Storm Roll into Raleigh
The Storm teams traveled up to Raleigh
this past weekend for the Carolina Clash Tournament…
and our success continues! Both the U14 team and the
U10 Black team came away as Champions, with plenty
of exciting games along the way. The 14’s were
finally able to find the net consistently, while the
10’s earned respect for their quality play and
sportsmanship. Solid efforts were given by all players
and our four teams finished with a record of 10-3-1.
Way to go Storm!!
Our Storm teams traveled up to Burlington to compete
in the Columbus Day Classic – and compete they did!
Of the four teams that attended the tournament, the U14’s
and U12’s were crowned champions, one U10 finished
second and one U10 finished third. The overall record
of the four squads was 13-1-1 –
quite impressive and a great representation of the talent
that we have!
The Storm creed is upheld yet again!
Pride – Passion – Preparation
- Perseverance
The U13 Storm team won their division
championship at the local Seaside Classic Tournament,
held May 16-17th in Wilmington. With the threat of
severe storms all around the region, the Duplin team
played a great weekend of soccer, with seven different
players getting goals and only two goals allowed against
them. A truly solid effort by every single player
- our congratulations to the team! GO STORM!
The Port City Storm U11 team, won The Bridge Soccer Invitational
Tournament in Charleston SC held April 25-26, 2009 hosted by Bridge
Futbol Alliance. The Storm showed amazing teamwork leading a draw
and 3 wins (2-2, 2-1,3-1,3-2). A team trophy and individual
medals were awarded. GREAT WORK STORM!
